Pricing Adjustment is coming 1 August 2019:  On 1 Aug 2019 we are adjusting our prices for the first time in over 3 years.  Changes will apply to new patients starting 1 August 2019, and for existing patients if they let more than 6 months lapse between infusions after 1 August 2019.  Infusions will increase to $550 per infusion, and “maintenance” infusions (see below for definition) will be reduced to $400.  For new patients that pre-pay for all 6 of their initial infusions, a 20% discount is applied.  See below for current pricing structure.

Consultation Evaluations for ketamine treatments are mandatory for all new patients, and the fee for this service is $200.  For patients that we are “in-network” for, the fee for the consultation evaluation can be billed directly to the insurance company by our staff.  For these patients, co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles apply.  For patients that have insurance, and I am an “out of network” provider for, a superbill can be provided, which patients can submit to insurance companies, but the full payment for the consultation/office visit will be required at time of service.  For patients that do not have insurance that we accept, and for patient that choose not to use their insurance for whatever reason, the full cost (see below for self-pay rates) will need to be collected on each day of service.

Intravenous (IV) Ketamine Infusions for depression and other psychiatric indications are $400 per treatment.

Initial Ketamine Therapy consists of 6 IV infusions over the course of 2 weeks.  Infusions are 40 minutes in duration.  If the symptoms are successfully controlled with these initial treatments, then follow-up evaluations will be conducted to determine long-term treatment plans.  Follow up treatment, or “maintenance treatments,” usually consists of 1 infusion every 3-6 weeks. Deviations from this protocol are done on a case-by-case basis.

-“Maintenance Pricing” is for patients that have completed 6 infusions at our clinic, and are returning for ongoing ketamine treatments.  To qualify for “Maintenance Pricing” patients need to have had 6 infusions at our clinic, and then return within 6 weeks for subsequent treatments.  If more than 6 weeks between infusions, maintenance pricing doesn’t apply.  Maintenance treatments are discounted by $100.

-Insurance Reimbursements for ketamine infusions is not possible as ketamine is a non-FDA approved treatment for depression, and is considered investigational and experimental by most insurance plans.
